湖区旅游资源特色
（一）水乡风光秀美。马踏湖总面积近百平方公里，湖内有2100余条船道，纵横相连，交织成网，形成了我国北方极为罕见的“村村靠湖、家家连水、户户通船”的水乡风貌。马踏湖是山东省政府命名的省级风景名胜区和生态功能保护区，在生态旅游方面具有很大潜力。
（二）人文资源丰富。马踏湖区至今还保留着五贤祠、徐夜书屋、冰山、齐台、青丘、会城鲁连井、齐王阁、胜处祠、湖心亭、鱼神亭等一大批有一定品位和开发价值的人文资源。
（三）湖区物产丰富。湖中盛产藕、莲、蒲、苇、鹅、鸭、鱼、虾、蟹以及其他野生动物资源，野生鸟类也有七十余种，水生植物三十余种。马踏湖特产金丝鸭蛋、鱼龙香稻、白莲藕因其风味独特，是历史上进奉朝廷的贡品。
